MARC is

The Maryland Area Regional Commuter (MARC). It operates three lines that include Maryland, Washington D.C., and West Virginia. MARC Train operates on weekdays only with limited service on select holidays. For the Brunswick and Camden Line, there is morning and evening rush hours only. For the Penn Line there is all day and late evening service.

There is NO MARC Train Service on the following holidays:

    This is the MARC holiday operational schedule for 2016:
    • Martin Luther King Day (Monday, January 18), All three MARC lines will operate on an "S" weekday schedule.
    • Presidents Day (Monday, February 15), All three MARC lines will operate on an "S" weekday schedule.
    • Memorial Day (Monday, May 30), No MARC Train Service
    • 4th of July (Monday), MARC Train operational status to be determined.
    • Labor Day (Monday, September 5), No MARC Train Service
    • Columbus Day (Monday, October 10): MARC Train operational status to be determined.
    • Presidential Election Day (Tuesday, November 8), Full weekday service on all three MARC Train lines.
    • Veterans' Day (Friday, November 11): MARC Train operational status to be determined.
    • Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 24): No MARC Train Service
    • The day after Thanksgiving (Friday, November 25): MARC Train operational status to be determined.

    Christmas / New Years schedule:
    • MARC Train operational status to be determined.

    MARC Train Service reserves the right to modify the above service and non-service dates. 
    Advanced notification will be provided and this website will be updated.

Note:
“S” schedule – this is the weekday, limited service schedule. Only trains with an “S” under the train number in the printed timetables will operate. It is important to note the last departures from Union Station under the “S” schedule.
